Molested Baby Screams for Justice

“Aami said I shouldn’t visit dark places,”...oom but am I a stranger, beta? I am your uncle Feroz. Nissar knew that her uncle was correct.what if she could go walk upto the amusement park. Her abbu, aami had been always supportive of her going out with uncle.

But this time, it was a raining and the past few days had witnessed scores dark alley. Her uncle had promised to give her something special this 5th birthday. She holds Uncle Feroz’s hand and goes out with him.

“Did you see that there’s something strange with Nissar,” Firdausi spoke as Dr.Shabaz Ahmed looked furtively glanced over the newspaper. Firdausi knew her husband had never paid any attention to Nissar for not because of his professional engagements. But he wanted a son. It pinched me off-lately as Firdausi was expecting their second kid, and looks like the reports showed that it’s a baby girl again.

Firdausi went to Nissar’s room. It was a side wide open. Right from her childhood, Nissar had kept her room open while sleeping. She is scared of darkness. “beta Nissar kaha ho tum?”...”she could hear the gushing of waters from the tub. The door was ajar. She could see Nissar‘s feets.

Those tiny feets had been rinsed in water for some time. She peeped in and was shocked to see her Nissar sitting there with eyes wide-open.

She walked off to Nissar, called her names, but to no effect. Nissar was speechless. She called her husband whom came running back and together they took her to the bedroom. She was rinsed properly with a towel.

As Shabaz went to call for a hospital ambulance, Firdausi discovered something wet and sticky in her daughter’s skirt. Ya Allah! It was blood...she was bleeding profusely.

“I am sorry, Mr. Ahmed but your daughter was forced “. Mr. & Mrs Ahmed were numbstruck. They didn’t know what to say forget about any actions.

They held their hands as they entered into Nissar’s cabin. Therein lays their daughter holding a doll crutched to her arms. Salinated water from bottles had been continuously given to her. Tears were rolling from her dad’s eyes. He knew he had never loved her daughter and now ...he was all in tears.

Who could have possibly done this to their daughter? She is merely 6, doesn’t even understand what she underwent and how could someone be so inhuman. They were searching for the answers. In comes a visitor’s shadow.

It is uncle Feroz. The moment he enters, he greets Firdausi and Shabaz and goes up to Nissar. Suddenly, Nissar starts wrestling her arms and screams. As the doctors rush in to medicate, Nissar lets out a scream “Feroz uncle, please don’t climb on me. It’s paining...”

Dr.Shabaz looks at Feroz. He knows the answer to his every query. Feroz shivers.

Fashion Designers in Rolling Cut

This has been so far the biggest event of the year. Everyone from the whose of whose of the world of fashion has gathered to showcase their 365 days of haute coutre. The venue is one of Mumbai's posh and seductress palace' The Taj Mahal' Hotel.

To be honest, I hardly get a chance to attend such events since as a writer we are always remembered in someone's funeral or not. So, when Neha asked me to put on my party clothes and come there, I had to say out rightly REALLLLLLLLLY!

We reached there as usual a bit early--but here goes the big theory--you don't arrive early to parties, u arrive late. Why? Simple- you derive a bag of attention from the span of people that look at you with green eyes.

If you are a designer, which was by the way Neha's profession (owns a boutique in Mumbai- I often get clothes for FREE from there :)you ought to be in your best clothes, because everyone ought to know your taste of clothing. This than can reflect in the dressed up models walking the ramp. It doesn't seems to know which designer get reflected in the clothes on the ramp or not.

Now, in the party, you never want to be looked with an empty glass. This is considered as an insult to the fashion industry, and better you get used to it. I somehow felt that an alcoholic would find it tough to survive in the party, because chance of his or her glasses remaining empty are pretty less. While Neha slipped into a Bacardi, I looked a fool sipping beer.

Soon the ramp walk started. My eyes were wide-opened as were in the days of my last minute preparation for my school exams. Only this time, it was in the excitement of awe. Some of the big names participated with full gusto. Like Tarun Tahiliani. Rohit Bal. Manish Malhotra. Sangeeta Chopra. Krishna Mehta. Ritu Kumar. Rocky S. Last year, the ramp boasted of several international models and it may also be recalled that a couple of them created quite a ruckus with their no-bra look, but this year, the ramp show looked ike a dry run.

Anyway, the show went past midnight and there was this sumptuous dinner waiting for me. Neha had a flock of friends with whom she was prone to much more of dedication that I expected. I had a very quiet dinner though I could overhear some people discussing the whole business of the FDCI or the Lakme India Fashion Week is to exploit models. I am deeply disturbed and upset with the quotes attributed to me."

But the controversies regarding the models seemed to overshadow the event even before it started. Finally, a couple of days before the D-day, the organization issued a formal statement. It was quite an eventful evening in Mumbai. Not sure I am attuned to the world of glamor , but someday I'ld like to ask a designers " Fashion-is it myth or reality?". Watch this space

Cheery Moments with a Cheerleader

Finally, I manage to get a place in the 'M' block of Chinawaswamy staduim, Bangalore. It was the best possible seat that one could ever get, and Shenaz had used her PR relations quite well to get the coveted seat. I had thanked her saying that if I ever possibly get married, i'ld make my son get wedded to her girl. She was reluctant to even that a guy like me can make such decisions. But than that's another story. we are here to discuss cricket and so lets stick to it.

The crowd has started to build up in numbers. It was the 3rd finals (best of 3) and Royal Challengers Banagalore was up with Kolkata Knight riders. Dr. Mallya had painted the whole stadium with colors of UB and it faced a competition cause it was Shahrukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar. Sharukh was there with his whole bollywood clan of Karan Johar, Arjun Rampal, Riya sen and whole bunch. By the way, preity's mohali kings had lost so she was there with her beau Ness Wadia to support Mr. Khan.

Ok, so lot of commotion and in this hustle bustle, I caught them. Certain youngsters whose eyes were glued to one thing--skiny cheerleaders. I watched them-- oh! i have only seen them in NBA games and in movies. and here they were, short dressed up in lacy skirts who anyday can give run to the adrenalin spring.

I couldn't believe my eyes. These beautiful awesome buxom beauties dancing to the swirls of every ball. they were dancing, cheering and clapping at every stroke the team played. It didn't matter which teams were cheering for, so long as they managed to catch us with our attention.

Suddenly, I could hear some folks saying "i wish these girls were our friends" and some one said "let's talk to them".. I was like 'talk to them". How was it possible? with so many cops around them it was a next to impossible job. But,then I wanted to. Come on guys! 4 beautiful women dancing in front of you cheering you up and you can't stand by just not appreciating them. But, what if Shenaz THOUGHT abt it?

Shenaz was glued to the match and possibly like most of the girls had "ignore' status for me. I quickly went across and followed those bunch of dudes getting down in front of the seat. Driving towards the ailes of invaders in strong lathis and rifles, we made to the battlefields.

Folks! let me confess here. I am in mid-thrity's and these teenagers are dudes-- spiky hairs, rings in all places and wat not. So, their chances of drawing attention was more rather than me. I looked like an uncle in front of them and jobless as some dear friend once called me.

So, I watched as some youngster finally managed to scream "hey babes, you look hot!" to one of those cheerleader. And, instanly she figured out gave a smile, closed her lipsa and questiond ..no not the right word teased me "do I?" oh man! i was like oh God 'Mena Suvari' . Folks! pls understand it was the most decisive moment. These were girls I dreamt of going out and dating. Infact, in my wildest moment I had always thought when I land in Big Apple, I would go out with chicks.

I stealthely crept in..oh thats another SIX! Sourav has Kallis for a big one and it disappeared in the crowd. What a good time it was. Those cheerleaders sparng into action. 1..2...3 and they swirvled. Tccch Tvjjjjjjjjj..ding dong ---- aaj ki raat hona hai kya ... paana hai kya...hona hai kya? there was her' right in front of me. I wanted to creep close to her and watch that beautiful maiden stealthily walked upto me podium and took a dig at it. He knew there was noone to
I woke up to find the brimness and sulkness of human emotions tanged in ..Get up son! it's time to move gto office...A beautiful dream

Shenaz looked at me and said Raj watch the game. She had caught me red-handed and had that mischievous smile

'Indian' Premier Leauge- A Thought

There couldn't be a better topic to discuss this days in India than Indian Premier League (IPL). But than so much has already been spoken and written about this game than I am left with hardly any subject to touch upon. So, what do I write on this league.

Firstly, let me congratulate the entire team right from the BCCI strategy group to the players and to the franchise. The show is a huge success and the upcoming days would testify its dividends. Also, it is pretty nice to witness the IPL is celebrated by the entire Indian household. So, good for the game.

So, I thought since everyone spoke and wrote so much about the game I would touch own the Regional factor. The other day during the post-match interview Shaun Pollock, captain of the Mumbai Indians mentioned we thank the Wankhede crowd for their local support. Let's change the picture to a Virendar Sehwag swashbuckling 100 and the stupefied silence of the Rajiv Gandhi stadium, Hyderabad. Sehwag rose his bat to the crowd and waved to say "hey, I am an Indian".

I looked back and analyzed and said this is strange isn't it. We are Indians and when our local teams plays why do we chose to become so emotional or Sreesanthal (an synonym for emotional). No wonder the local team support the game and they came large numbers to watch and support their teams. Good for the game, but in what modern context.

I am a bengali- yes, I love payasam, khicuri, aloo seedho, mach etc...I am a bongali babu. Yes, I idolized Sourav, Kishore da..I would go and scream for kolkata knight riders, but than if Sachin plays a glorious stropke i'ld applaud that also. Could you say now Sachin is from Mumbai and so a Bengali shouldn't applaud. Now way!

Just take Chennai Super Kings for the case. Chennai has a history of anti-hindism. They have had people who don't seem to come out of their mother tongue bar (though things have started changing a lot now), they have a Bihari captain MS Dhoni. In the TV ad Dhoni could be seen dressing up in lungi and saying 'Mind it'. Here, is to the game.

A game is supposed to unite everyone and IPL franchise cannot withstand that. The objective of every product sponsoring the game is to see that their products are used by every Indian. Will it than say- no since we are representing Royal Challengers Bangalore, only the people of Karnataka can claim to use it? No right!

My point is support your region but dont forget to applaud the other teams. In the end it's our country-India that we are supporting. Let us showcase the world that we are not only a superpower nation in terms of our IT Services and Energy but also in Cricket.

By the way to end the note in a jocular tone--which of the cheerleaders are you dancing with? You got MY point, didn't you?

Watch out this space for my '5 minutes with a cheerleader'

Adventure of Demented Minds @ Pondy in April '08

Obviously, the sun never sets in the holiest of the places in southern India, the capital state for Tamil Naidu, Chennai. After a prolonged conversation with my best friend, where she allowed me to contemplate: do we have such characters? I decided to set off for Pondicherry. My colleague at Infosys Manish Nema couldn’t be better relief to come out of that jail where he is currently doing a project. We decided to take an ECR bus to pondy.

It was hot and I swear Chennai always leaves me speechless with its humidity factor. Everything is at extremes. So when we purchased the tickets and asked the driver “will you get a volvo for pondy?” he said we should wait there. we waited and waited . after half an hour we asked him again, he looked at me as if he had seen us for the first time..(I cannot use those words here)

Anyway, a steaming bus with more than its capacity was started with more than 70 odd people. Everywhere there was commotion, everything was in a mess. The bus started and whole throughout the journey manish and I were singing, jumping and checking out some birds. I was also lost in someone’s thought.

We reached Pondy and as usual manish and I decided to do the best we always do- select the best hotel and have some good food. After finishing the rituals...oh by the way, the hotel that we entered for food was called the 'BEST' and if it means, you'll only get Masala Dosa there and nothing else, GOD knows what it means. anyway, we took some rest and straight off went to the beach.

Now, folks please understand this is my first visit to pondy and as usual we were cluless about the directions. So, when we asked a gentelman (who would in any day give a run to the great Bollywood comedian 'Keshto Mukherjee"..go starrrrrright. That straight would have lead us to a graveyard. I am 26 now and assume that I can wait for some more time to go that place.

So, a straight walk lead us to the ROCKY beach. As the name suggests, its a place filled with rocks. Manish and I had a gala time taking snaps of each other in different angles...we were the only person in the world without a girlfriend and things really get bad when we see couples everywhere...By the way, readers we are very much staright persons. Soon, we thought we would have some food again.

Manish was screaming for some drinks too. Let me tell you something, when you are on a project in a place like Chennai and have a manager who doesn't care a damn soul, you need drinks.

So, heard a lot about it. Hotel Rendezvous take a bow! The place is marvelous both in its food and scenic food. we had awesome time out there getting floored in all directions. The entire evening was filled with sher-o-shayari, anecdotes, bashing of everyone. Manish didn't leave me also. He called me names and after that he said sorry. Anyway, we took a long walk to the hotel again and we don't know what

happened next because the last thing that I remember was someone screaming....

The following day we went to Aurobindo Ashram..we had a gala time..I saw people praying, meditating and all. Good! I will come here in my late 50's. I bought some stuffs from my friends and if they are reading it guys its time you buy me something. At 1 we took a bus ride back to Chennai.

An awesome trip that was filled with fun and amazing comradeship. Keep watching this space for more trips of mine. Till then Sayonara!

THE FIFTH OF APRIL

Travelled a hundred miles with hope and dreams
Travelled a hundred miles with cherished smile
It was 5th of April my dear
It was 5th of April when they said hi

Dressed in a white T and blue jeans,
She strolled in a red Santro
Ten hours and forty minutes, when she said “finally”
She was down with all cold and all

But still the sun’s rays couldn’t keep her from smile
Arms with bangles of all colors
She shined in that nosy ring.

Coffee day with Assam Tea, she started speaking
But! Her fingers were texting while her eyes were searching
As they converse stories of many a fold
The guy couldn’t stop pulling her legs,
She leapt a lizard

They shopped and shopped
Till she said “kuch thikka ho Jaaaye” (let's have some spicy food)
He wished she could stay
But she didn’t wish to.

As they departed, she shook his hands
He wished he could just caress her face,
Bye my dear! Bye my touch
She stopped, looked back and gave a last wink at me.

Travelled a hundred miles with hope and dreams
Travelled a hundred miles with cherished smile
It was 5th of April my dear
It was 5th of April when they said hi

Once Upon a Time in Chennai

"a free bird her like cannot be caged..she has to flee"

Java city has told and unfolded a many love stories but how often have these stories sound REAL to you? this is also not a real story. It never happened . The characters never existed. They are a poet's imagination, a writer's coinage for a lunch and a 26 year old guy's passion. Don't believe a single word of it cause if you do you might have to brace yourself and laugh at this fella. This story has romance, drama and a lot of passion of course suspense added to it.

chilly nights and it wasn't the best for a teetotaler. As he hunched for a quick Cappuchino, his trembling hands were browsing for someone he didn't even know. He had broken up on a relationship that smell of lust. He doesn't wish to talk about her-never again.

Anyway, the past few months had taken a toll on his mental and physical. Often a times, he felt breathless- he searched for air, at time he wished to cry but a man he was he just couldn't.www. orkut.com, suddenly he noticed this profile. -- oom! that's the central character of the story. He scraped her just like he did to another girl but this time he didn't receive a response.

Few days passed Beautiful and pretty- she is no doubt, but from the very first day he found her subtlness..she tried to dissuade her allusion that she didn't believe in love, crafted a scene that she hates everything that spoke about passion and substance, used to run away from all this. She also liked to confine and put herself in a shelf of not being friendly. Often at times, this was taken by people as sheer attitude and know what he found it at first notice. But things were started behaving a lil different with times.

They started conversing more regular on chat messengers and time came when the guy poped up the million dollar question to her "could we talk over the phone?" at first notice, it was a mess to think cause both of them wished. They did speak, the guy tried donning a cool cap and ushered songs and all, but took a back seat. she didn't expect to anyway keep in touch with this lad. He found her amusing, moody most of the times and she wasn't at all happy with this guy.

Time for me to give you an idea on . She hails from Jeddah, a place that people say is highly conservative when it comes to women. She did her schooling from there and went to Dubai for higher studies. Adventurous, colorful and full of smile, she was all smiles in her life and doing what every teenager were aspiring to- successful. She finished her studies over there and came to a land where certain
things were awaiting for her. Yes, you guessed it correct-LOVE.

anyway talented in every sense, is a fashion designer whose doing a fabulous job in her career. She has great plans and God shall see her success..

Here are couple of points:

She has a problem when someone tries to get closer to her and eventually gets hurt.
At times expectations ruins everything and she has stop expecting much from her life
She is very close to her family members and hence she is scared to hurt them

In Search for Someone

Does a broken relationship mean The END? Nope. No way. Life goes on and on and on and on…Maybe a little faster, now that I have so much time for myself. The weekends are so jam packed with activities; every Monday morning I wonder where the last two days went! But in the middle of all the hustle bustle, laughing, giggling, shopping, partying, I stop for a few seconds and think of the past….

Speaking to her friend I say “us” like I’m still a part of the gang. Seeing something that’s similar to the one she’s viewed with me sends a jolt of realization down my spine that I’m not her companion any more. When I go to a restaurant, and am deciding what to eat, the menu very rudely reminds me of the stuff she hates eating… list too!

I miss hearing her groggy voice when she used to call to wake him up in the morning. I miss the chocolates she used to get me sometimes. I miss lazing around with her. Deleting her pictures from my phone can’t erase her memories from my mind…I just wonder if she feels the same way for me. Does she miss the way I smell? Does she miss my whining? Does she miss my touch?

Does she miss our Cricket matches? Does she miss the way I used to crinkle my nose at the mention of her “friend”? Does she miss the way I keep blabbering? But does it even matter now? Maybe it does. And that’s why I’m writing about it!

Fine, we didn’t work out. I’m not gonna talk to her again. Not in a million years. Not even when she sends me a message to say she’s in some trouble. Am I being hard hearted? No I’m not. After whatever happened it’s only logical that I maintain a stony silence. That’s the way it’s supposed to be. I’m not a saint .

I can’t behave like one either; forgive/forget and speak to her is not possible any more. If in a relationship one person doesn’t respect the other, calling her/his only in the hour of need then the whole thing stinks- not of friendship, not of lust, but a rotten kind of love. There’s love here. No denying that. But it’s gone bad. And what do you do with something rotten? Throw it away…

DOWN WITH DOWN UNDER

Anybody who watches and understands the game of cricket need not visit an eye specialist to realise that their eyesight witnessed the ironical holiest of events in Sydney.

It wasn’t India or Australia losing the match, but the loser was
the game. I have had great respect for the way the Aussies approach their game and play it with so much of professionalism, but as they say sometimes your success can become your greatest enemy.

At the moment the Aussies are the biggest losers or crying babies when it comes to accept defeat. I may be a little biased here to say, but yes Aussies are the poor losers. Success has made them greedy, and they cannot accept the fact that anybody can challenge them and that also in their backyards.

Questions and investigations are pouring as I write this piece, but history will bloody remember this Ponting’s team as 'cheats'. Yes, and as Ricky who calls himself as a self-integrated man looks back at his cricketing days, he might have to reassure himself that he is clean.

Amongst all this hustle and bustle and the dramas that happened, one man who showed firm composure was the Indian captain Anil Kumble. I have always been captivated by Kumble’s determination and his panache to be perform to the fullest.

Yes, he might have a bad day in the game, he may not be the best fielder but take nothing away- he will fight it out. Yes, he will give his 100 percent to the game and his 4th innings of 44 unbeaten testified that.

What was going through Anil’s mind when he was viewing the white collared men giving one after one incorrect dismissals? He must have thought that there was no way he could defeat the Aussies if these people were busy in giving incorrect decisions. Yet, he showed firm grit and character and was tactful with his words.

We Indians have always been defensive in our approach to sports. Some say that’s the way we are brought up and play the game. Correct! But that doesn’t mean you can take us for granted and that also not once, twice but infinite times. Why should we take it anymore?

Does Ricky Ponting who in the past had a history of drunken brawl come up and say he is man of character. How could him? Wasn’t him the same person who stood at his ground when the replay clearly showed an edge a big knick? Than while fielding he took a catch of Dhoni that clearly showing him bumping into the ground and still he keep on yelling.

I never understood that; yes, you play hard cricket, but it doesn’t allow you to be cheaters. Would this pic below mean anything to you ? sorry mate! I don’t think I can trust you on this.

Sportsmanship is the much debated word of the day. It is defined as ‘conduct (as fairness, respect for one's opponent, and graciousness in winning or losing) becoming to one participating in a sport’.

The unfolding of events at the SCG has tarnished the image of cricket as a gentleman’s game. What happens in the field stays in the field- what happen Mr.Ricky to that? In an era where ego and money drives sport, sportsmanship and gentelman valueship are a lost virtue. Yes, it is lost somewhere in the cloud nine.

Awesome Taare Zameen Par

“Raj, you look like that kid-Darsheel”, said my roomie. I was little taken back. Do I consider it as a compliment or something else?

It is interesting though I resemble a bit like Darsheel, but I am sure I can never deliver a performance oriented role as Darsheel has done in TZP. Pheew! What a breathtaking performance from this kid and equally too from the other starcast in Aamir Khan’s maiden directorial venture Taare Zaamen Par.

It is also amazing to find that Aamir' sincerity of movie making etches out his actingship. Aamir could have done another hero oriented role after RDB and FANNA, but instead he chose to do TZP. Why?

I was trying to get this answer when I was safely couching in the Chennai theatre with a friend, and when I left the theatre I am happy to announce that it did satiate my queries.

I am not going to tell you the story as most of you by now have watched or read it from any other websites. I will narrate a quick 8 point summary of why TZP is the best movie in the year 2007-08.

1)Bollywood has a history of quickly tagging any non-masala movie as an "Art cinema". Sometimes it results in youngsters like me staying away from the movie. But sometimes when you watch the movie if your favorite actor is there, you think you could have missed out something. Trust me, I am not being biased here.

I admit TZP is not an out and out masala movie (though it has its share of gaana bajana), but it makes you sit and wonder. A question: why a kid is pushed always and not allowed to make his or her own choices is very much prudent here.

2)Darsheel undoubtedly is a great hero material. His performance is better than most other child actors in Bollywood. Forget child actors he is brilliant than most of these Salman Khan or Aftab. But you might say. Well he had a strong role. So what he had to perform? I can only think of the character Anjali in Mani Ratnam’s classic ANJALI that was laced with so much brilliance.

3)Let’s admit one thing here- Direction is not a piece of cake. Add it to the direction of kids and you know you have a mammoth task.

Aamir though he had shot few scenes in GHULAM must have few butterflies in his stomach when he started shooting. But like an ace director he brought out the anguish, smiles, emphatic, dreams and mostly important he connected with the audience. Mani Ratnam’s ANJALI was too off a kid who is also physically challenged and at the same time you could feel the sheer determination.

4)The script is so beautifully written. Dialogues are fresh and not smell of any superficiality.

5)Some of the scenes that stand out and made my childhood memories sink in are Darsheel play to his parents for nursing his dreams.

As a kid I know quite a few parents who force their kids to take up an Engineering or Medical career just for their status and name. Do they even realize what the kid capable of doing is? If they understood a kid psyche, I am sure they are going to be surprised by his or her latent quality.

6)Music is top-notch and Prasoon Joshi deserves all the applause for the lyrics.

7)I perceive the movie to do very well- especially in the multiplexes and overseas. It would make a major difference if this time we see TZP competing instead of EKLAVYA or PAHELI in Oscars. I am sure we won't be again a nation of duplicating errors. Please!

8)Like LAGAAN the climax opens up another interesting phase in the film. I believe it is where the movie actually takes a sharp turn of critics opining it as ‘thik-thak’ movie to a 'classic' one. The crew seems to understand the audience pulse pretty well.

I have seen quite a few movies that had children as the central character namely- baby Anjali in ANJALI, Jugal Hansraj in MASOOM and you expect them to learn as the time progresses. But when you see such a flawless execution of actingship, all you could do is stand up and applause the entire team. Watch it! I give it a five star *****

Writers Day Out!

This is still a family-oriented blog but the characters are not at all normal :)

Whenever these bunch of idiots meet, something or the other happens..and mind you, all for good reasons. My association with the central character of the piece dates back to the good old days of Orkut, when I was sneaking to have her smile reflected in my profile, and somehow we hardly fail to understand till today that how on the earth we became the best of buddies. Gresh and I met again on 15th December 2007 after a hiatus of 6 months.

I had finished presenting 'Almost Humour'@ Sun Microsystems and was finishing the last minute rituals of socialising when a message flashed on my mobile screen: "what plans for lunch?" We ended up having lunch at Koshy where the lady smilingly declared her 'commitment' status. I said, "God, poor chap!" but lucky!

Since the last time I saw her, she has now become calm, matured and more slim ..interestingly the foodie she is...she was busy eating while I was conversing with her. God knows, even if she heard me once :)but I love the way she is shaping up her career and am so delighted to get a friend who like me talks about books, films and is serious about her career..I know she is giggling post reading it..

Post lunch we decided that we gonna do some shopping in MG Road. When we were done with the shopping, the lady and I decided to end the day with a quick coffee in Bombay Stores. But lol! as we are trying to exit the machine beeped.

Lol! we were caught for shoplifting, Interestingly, as the shopowners came, her first reaction looking at me , " did you take something, Raj?" I was furious.

Instead of being on the same side, she was..grrrrrr...anyway, the lady's bag was searched and nothing came out..and we finally made a respectable exit after the glamorised farewell speech by the lady to the owner.

You should have seen the owner..He was all at gaga over her..Post-investiagtion her chin was up with an expression of delight and containment as if to say " look nothing can happen to me".

We had our coffee and this time a kiddo fancied the lady's mobile phone. I quickly took a snap of her with him. Boy! she was all coochie--pooh with him :)btw the baby, Ayush had given quite a few glances at her (Let's not discuss here where, this is still a family-oriented blog); boy! she was getting all the attention :)

A wonderful day come to close with she getting into an auto.

Fantastic day with some nice people sharing knowledge. I wish the very best to my Orkuttian--and as I say her repeatedly "You are the best thing that happen to me in Orkut", and I am hopefull that our friendship keeps on flourishing with a great deal of warmth in the days to come. God bless and have a fantastic new year, Bunny!

My Take on the Website ORKUT- Google pls Consider :)

I am picking up the website Orkut as one of the best websites in terms of usability factors. It's clarity, consciouness, ease of colors, accessibility and findability makes it an end-user's delight.

A couple of things that goes for it are:
Simple login interface

Left Menu allows easy selected links

My Friends and My Communities are borderlined neatly

The background color gels with the content

Search is pretty excellent

What needs to be there:
Help link on the Home page (Currently on all the pages except Home Page)

Just next to the 'Friends' names' on the home page, one can have an option of right-clicking and sending across a message or scraps.

Today's fortune doesn't interest much; we can add a link saying latest on Orkut-- that can feature the most visited profiles or communities. Think about it.

Run a Contest. Why are we not thinking about it. Google needs to ponder on it. Not only it increases end users visits but also revenue comes. Participation gets more.

It's a fantastic websites in recent times, and one of the big compliments for it would be just the other day a lady was asked instead of her cell no "do you have an orkut profile?" ..Changes are welcome..isn't it Mr. Bernokutten? :)

MIRROR

Reflection of Myself in SAAWARIYA

There's a dream every man would like to see getting realised in his life-love a very special and beautiful girl even though he wakes up and finds her non-existent, he still searches for her. This 120 minutes of Sanjay Bhansali's SAAWARIYA will make yo search for that beautiful one and when you realise that you almost got her, she will slip away from you.

As a story I don't think SAAWARIYA has much to tell people; one might just ask ok Sonam Kappor (Sakeena) got her lady love Salman Khan (Iman) who leaves her and than suddenly comes on an EID and says "God is still creating you". No logic!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=D9QDjlnKjEU

Acting wise, Ranbir Kapoor impresses; I am so happy to such natural acting from a newcomer. He is young, vibrant, confident and above all he is a charmer. He profuses a sense of charm in his movements, dialogue delivery. This guy bared a lot in the movie ( so what if Dimple Kapadia bared a lot in 70's with his dad Rishi Kapoor in BOBBY). Ranbir's character had shades of Raj Kapoor's 420 and Ajay Devgan's character of Hum dil de chuke sanam.

Ranbir has a steamy body, dances well and his emotions such as the one in which he says to Rani I love you is excellent. He can have a great career if he becomes the young lover boy of this country! bTW i hit upon a girl in the theatres and instead of saying Sorry, she said "Oh! Ranbir's back". Now, you know how impactful is Ranbir Kapoor!

Sanjay Bhansali has given both Ranbir and Sonam equal share of screen but Sonam to me needs to work a lil on dancing skills. Her character is that of a Muslim Girl Sakena and while she is waiting for the man whom she loved she doesn't mind with a smile. Sonam acts well, has that grace which I witnessed in Madhuri Dixit. A little skiny but that;s good.

Rani Mukheerjee seems to be the female version of Aaamir Khan. Her role as Gulabi, a call girl is so breathtaking natural that for a while you might just wonder it's real. Salman does what he should do-- acts with a penchant of attitude. Sometimes I wonder if he's speaking Hindi in English.

Sanjay's Bhansali cinematography is speachless and contuning with the tradition of DEVDAS and BLACK, the movie shot in R.K.Studio, Filmcity, Filmistan and Mehboob Studio had such sets that you have to see in the theatres to believe.

To cut it short and crisp, the songs are a huge hit..the movie leaves me a mark with Ranbir Kapoor but it doesn't stand a very good chance of competiting with OM SHANTI OM. But having said that both are diffrent type of movies. Farah Khan has made another masala movie with SRK, so if you wanna watch something different you watch SAAWARIYA.

I give it a 3 star out of 5. Go and watch in this DIWALI and do clasp your lover's hand. You will enjoy the touch so long you are watching the movie.

JAB WE MET

When you have completed 26 seasons in life, you ought to see different complexions of life especially in the "road to love". Few of them have been due to the evergreen world of Bollywood, and thanks to it, we got to here and there find a little more freshness. Which is why I am penning this review.

To me, Imtiaz Ali has given a new blend to the ever-repeated saga of Bollywood romance. JAB WE MET is not something that we haven’t seen or come across in life; it has shades of PYAR TO HONA HI THA, DDLJ, and various other Bollywood biggies- but what sets it apart than?

I would say the characters of Kareena and Shahid and wonderful screenplay. As, if Imtiaz knew where, when and which frames are be exactly inserted. So, it says a lot about the research on the project.

I am not narrating the story here; it’s Shahid who has the duty of safely dropping Kareena back home to Bhatinda for everything except love. Kareena bubbly and effervescent, doesn’t mince words and could be heard saying “main apni favorite hoon’ has a boyfriend Tarun Arora.

During this adventure to Bhatinda, Shahid’s life changes and he develops a soft corner for Kareena while Kareena’s life changes too. What happens finally is something you got to pay some 180 bucks and watch.

Shahid and Kareena had appeared before in FIDA, and fans were disappointed to find their chemistry cold. It becomes tough in two accounts for when we have a competitor like John-Bipasha scoring hits as couple, and you obviously know that your onscreen chemistry is somehow not better as your off-screen chemistry. Here, Kareena and Shahid both performed exceptionally well.

To me Kareena has always been a little overacted actress, and so if you find her a little more overacting, just ignore it. It’s much better than MAIN PREM KI DIWANI HOON. She was good in her dialogue delivery and very natural.

A scene which stands out is when she pushes Shahid to jump to the water. I found it so natural and spontaneous.

Shahid has a mixed bag of fortune in Bollywood; he started with a bang in ISHQ VISHK and than a couple of semi-flops. The reason is not that he is a one-time show, but he hasn’t chosen roles that could justice to his character.

Can you tell me what was he doing in DEEWANE HUE PAGAL? Similar lines of Tusshar Kapoor, Shahid struggles to make a movie run on his own. It is than he needs someone to support him.

JAB WE MET is such a refreshing change for Shahid and his fans. Not only he essays the character well, he shows a great deal of maturity too under that boyish charm.

Shahid is an excellent dancer and Pritam Chakraborty’s music goes well with Shahid and Kareena.

All said and done, will this movie work? It should run for two mainly reasons- I don’t believe cheap publicity works, but in India when we see a couple coming to a coffee show holding hands together and cajoling each other, and the next time they break up- the fans would love to pay to watch them.

I was observing Shahid and Karenna’s lip kiss together and I found to be very natural and spontaneous. They made a good pair. The second reason is Bollywood hasn’t seen a real romantic love journey for sometimes now.

The last if I remember was DIL CHAHTA HAI. This movie has freshness and dealt very differently. Also, the timing of the movie was perfect. With biggies like OM SHANTI OM and SAAWARIYA releasing during Diwali, JAB WE MET should be in a firm position. I see a good future of this movie. Shan has again sung something similar in the lines of TANHA dil.

I give it a 4 star out of 5 only for its spontaneity, freshness and Shahid-Kareena. Go watch it!

HOW TO MAKE THE FIRST MOVE

[This is an work of 26 year old brain's imagination; readers are advised to read it and apply it on their own merits and not blind foldely trust it. In a nutshell: take it just a work of imagination]

Sometimes a single difference in Chromosmes can build up a relationship, and I feel she understands that. The past few months have been quite hectic for me workwise and she added more to it. I met her through a social-network site and immediately clicked. I was trying to woo her for two reasons since she shares her name with my class teacher and she comes from my fav place: Shillong.

It didn’t take much time for me to start converse, because I guess I was at my wits best trying to put poetry in motion. Guys! now, here is the real tricky part- something that you need to understand when you make the all important first move. Respect-Yes, Respect her tremendously. She is someone you are expecting to date and than if things click, go ahead and have a married life.

But how many of us do that? We guys are so impatient to make the first move that all we need is the contact information on the first day and a date on the second day. Well, it may happen if you are a Tom Cruise or a Hrithik but for a medicore guy like me (most of us) we need to make our move.

Take a look into her profiles and read it- yes, just don’t look into her snaps and album. We all agree that looks count at the first notice- obviously, 80 % scraps comes from that single look, but after that what? You just can’t keep on complimenting on her looks. This can result in two ways-either she will make you a puppet or think you are an a********* (this still is a family-oriented blog).

I chose to make a move on her after I were sure that she would give a feedback to my scraps. Now, guys! here’s a funda: if you don’t receive a scrap from a female, try to go through the profile and understand has she been ignoring you? If she has done it, accept it gracefully. Don’t panick and most important don’t be frustrated! There are lot of girls out there..someone is there waiting; so go on.

After a few scraps with her, there came a point when I wished to take the lead-when I say a lead, I meant I wanted to go ahead and talk to her over the phone. Now, guys this is another thing you wish to know. How can you get a girl cell no.? you need to understand that from her scraps- if her scraps doesn’t read more than 1 line-no chances of you making that move than- it will take some more time-maybe weeks, months or maybe years  But, if its flowing nicely as with my Shillong mate, than you gotta take a risk.

2 things can happen here- she can backfire thinking that you are a spirit of Lucifer or she will promptly respond. So how will respond and approach? I sense this to much intuition and striking upon a line. So create a situation and than ask her. If she understands it, she will give you her cellno as my shillong dear did. Well, if she doesn’t understand, I won’t bother even to call upon her. Somehow, I prefer a bit of intelligence- it turns me on sharply than a REVLON coated lips.

We spoke over the phone and here’s something that you need to learn. Most of the guys give up conversing. Remember: it’s where it all starts. She needs to know if you can strike a conversation. Well what should I speak on? Listen, don’t start off telling and banter how good you are in this and that? We all have a quality that God has given. Work on it.

Strike a conversation in which both of you have mutual interests- if there’s none, well alarm bell rings! To be on safe side, push the ball on her side and than she will talk and cash it on. Once in conversation, cash it in.

if she is interested, (remember she is otherwise 95 % of girls wouldn’t give their nos to strangers) relax! Don’t husp up and try to create a larger than life character. With her I always tried to be natural and somewhere down the lane she respected it.

Alright, so after few months of calls, its natural you wish to meet her. Note: don’t have high expectations- it fails miserably. Girls: if you are looking for a flinge, tell him directly and if you are looking for committed relantionship take some time off.

When you wish to meet her , drop a line suggesting her. Don’t say “I want to meet you”. This I is dangerous-what if she isn’t interested to meet you. Yes, conversing over phone is a thing different from meeting up an individual. Simple who knows what kinda element you are? Prefarbly, you might be someone cooking up the whole picture. So she may try to play it safe and that’s where the TRUST factor comes into picture. If she says no to meet immediately, respect that decision.

If a guy has foul intentions, he will back out immediately while the one who really is interested will be there. Girls need to understand that thing.

Well I don’t know for sure what fate has stored for me and my Shillong girl, but eventually as time progresses and flowers bloom there will be lot of trust and commitment between them. If it doesn't progress also, all we know is a lot of memories that we can share, shan't we sweets? am I incorrect?

I am not sure if they will be life-partners but definitely they have sealed a bond of mutual trust and both of them are really proud of it.

And to conclude, guys! somewhere in the world, someone will be there. You just need to find out that person and trust me when you do that, the heart would immediately pause a beating and ask, “care to reflect your smile in my list?”

Cheers guys and all the best for your loved ones and remember always respect a women. 9 out of 10, chances are you will succeed!

Smiles

A smile perhaps is the best thing that happen to an individual when he is down, acts as an antidote to many of the distressing moments. And to take the ordeal of jotting down something but finally, I wish to pen down my experiences; Trust me! it is the most challenging thing to talk about smiles of a woman after spending innumerable nights on thinking and interviewing guys, I have finally come up with this. There have been guys writing to me asking me to suggest them about dating tips; please be patient.I will be shortly coming up with a dating article. In the meantime, enjoy this article in viewing smiles of woman.

Presenting, the best of the smiles in random order: She is someone I fell in awe from the first day, amazing radiant smile..

It says smile tell a lot about a person; what's the person mentality, how they cope things and wat degree exactly are they going to converse with. Being a 26 years old and not having exactly the best of things to do is a sick thing.

I was in twilight when I heard someone saying "why don't you talk about the smiles of Indian ladies?" I said hmm ahhh eee..well the expressions never seem to actually go well with me, but what i do write abt smiles?

Talk abt smiles the first thing comes to mind is that of my mom..mama always has nice dimples when she smiles; untouachable and up to the c..next smile comes of Delhi School girls..Now, they are in 10th standard near Okhla, some
pretty smiles to be seen, these are often seen in the golgopa chambers next comes the hyderbad girls; they are often to be seen in a crowded charminal market; very classical buying jewels; one of the features of the women are smiles- it's not ha ha ha..thoda sharmana and with a little coy and jhooki attitude scream aap ka naam hai behankoosh.

Usually, I grew in the hills, and than one fine day, when my eyes open to adulthood she was there.I still recall a windy summer not much to be seen and there
she was in a shalwar..I met her in Orkut and amongst all the smiles she beamed quite a torch; I think her name is Affreen and much to her name, she is enhachanted by all. I couldn't never express myself to her for she left me as usual

A smile radiates a sense of joy, makes things so meaningful and broke down the monontonus of a journey. You know with a smile you are always chanced upon to get something in life- she might say yes to you and you live happily after. what takes a women to smile? it isn't easy; i have seen hundreds of guys trying their level best to make a way to woman's hear- flowers, sweet talks, cards, emails etc..I am very poor in all this. My idea is to keep it very simple--never make it glorified; you wish her to smile right. Just have a talk to her and say how much it lights you up when she smiles. Respect her immensly and sknow how to give value for a women's smile

Next smile, she is currently in Jaipur and I have such a platonic relationship with her. My friend in Purple Haze; her smile is instanteous even when she cries, it feels she is smiling from within

It's interesting that a woman smiles logical or illogically you end up being the culprit if you make her cry. how many times have u heard this ///aaare rula dhi na meri beti ko..aare kuch bhi karo trust me, first thing a woman smiles for no particular reason ..

A typical indian girl smile

she will smile and you gotta know that the smile is for you to get in groove; don't question her why are u smiling? chances her that she will give you that DARK look which even the toughest of Himesh Reshammiya song won't make you gleeeeeeee secondly, over the phone..hi..he he, ahh, hmm get rid of these expressions..two thinsg she is pulling your legs on a first note, laugh with her smiles- it won't cost much..yes, i know its stupid..but just laugh..secondly,
move with the flow--she is interested and wants to be persuaded, you know there are quite a few things you need to do next.

just wrote a few lines..tell me if you can hows it:

Broken hearts never cease to beat
They don't bleed but uncontrollably weep
Memories of their beloved haunt
And their voices echo within the walls
None can ever hear their cry
That's muted behind those mysterious eyes

Lilac, someone who currently makes me belive the end is the beginning

Washed in Bangalore

There's an old saying, "mind the roads before you step". Here, in Bangalore each and every step that we take on these roads, there's something to add to the woes. Incessant rains have left Bangalore with severe jams, fluctuating power cuts and worst all accidents. The blame game has started with people accusin g BMP officials, who in turn point their fingers to hardcore politicans and it carries on.

I traveleld to electronics city five days a week and trust me its painful. almost 30 mins of journey has become 120 mins one and there's every chance it will become more worse in the days to come. I am confused as to why this 'Silicon Valley' tag has been atributed to Bangalore merely because it hubs majority of software companies. Infrasturcture wise, lemme tell you its poorest than Hyderabad and Chennai

Politicans do not worry abt it; all they are worried is abt their power and money
Those having vehicles will go against law and order in every sense

Just my random thoughts.......

ALL TIME FAVORITE MOVIES

Here comes the top-ten list of movies of mine; I am not that die-hard Hollywood or Bollywood movies crawler, but friends are pushing me to announce so here goes. This movies have been watched by me over the years and somewhere down the lane I have tried to use them in my life; Please note this is not a review of the movie-it's just to tell you why I watch these movies over and over again.

1) PULP FICTION: What a classic movie from the chambers of cinema moghuls Quentin Tarantino. Everything of the movie- right from the characters' names- Marcellus Wallace, Vincent, Pitt to the cinematography stood out. The dialogue delivery was simple and easy to hold, but what sets it drastic appart is the way Tarantino makes simple dialogues like 'I solve problems', 'A please would be nice', "What kind burger is this?" "Ezekel" stands apart.
Critics opined that the stellar of PULP FICTION was Samuel Jackson, which I agree to an great extent. It would however, be an insult of I don't value the importance of a John Travolta or a Harvey Keitel, Uma Thurman, Bruce Willis or Tarantino?

An interesting aspect was how Tarantino uses his music to cause an impact-scenario be it JACKIE BROWN, KILL BILL, RESERVOIR DOGS etc. I loved the song 'Girl! you'll be a woman someday'. PULP FICTION is such a classic that certain Australian university asked their students to write papers on it. I have watched it more than 20 times and I recommend you to watch-with a pinch of lemon, vodka, dry finger chips. say what again, i dare you, i double dare you motherfucker... say what one more goddamn time!

2)GOLMAAL- This is one of the finest Indian comedies that have hit the theatres. It came from the house of Hrishikesh Mukhherjee and as usual it had simple real-life chracters in Utpal Dutta, Amol palekar, Bindya Goswami, Dina Pathak etc. A story of double-identity to befool the boss and a series of sequences that follows to a never-been-seen climax makes it to the collector's gallery. The songs especially Aanne Waala Paal still ranks in the top of the charts.

3) GOODFELLAS- This is undoubtedly one of the best story-telling movies that has come from Hollwood. Nicholas Pileggi & Martin Scorsese screenplays are always a subject of interest and this 90's film based on the book WISEGUY had wonderful actors and an excellent script to bank upon.

Any kid born on the streets of Italy would say this is my story. The opening line whered Ray Liotta says SO FAR I REMEMBER I ALWAYS WANTED TO BE A GANGSTER immediately takes you on hold. Added to the extra-bonanza were Joe Pesci, Robert De Niro, Lorraine Bracco, and Paul Sorvino performances. Watch out for the classic scene, which is titled "HOW DO I LOOK FUNNY TO YOU?"

4)FORREST GUMP: I am sure much like me, folks feel Tom Hanks is a purist for he not only enacts the character of a physical challenged wonderfully, but he seems to challenge the normal human beings with a thought "Can we dare to compete like them?" It won an Oscar and undoubtedly one of the rare collections in my library.

There were certain instances in the movie that has remained with me and has played a part in my growing years; I always treasure this lines "MY MOM ALWAYS SAYS, LIFE IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOCLATES, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU WILL GET". To me it says, always be ready and competent enough to face the life's odd challenges and enjoy the moments that comes by. A must watch for everyone!

5) DIL CHAHTA HAI- Farhaan Akhtar changes the cinema-making with his trendy and classic debutant movie; it gave us Sid, Akaash and Sameer- three characters that were like "ah-we saw them somewhere" and it moved us so much that right from Aamir's Goatee to Akashaye's sketches, everything became a hit. It suddenly changed the cult of movie-making in Bollywood and ushered a season of uncoventional movies that seem to be somehow make a move in Bollywood. My personal favorite if you are watching it with your girl!

6) TAXI DRIVER-- He remains as one of the iconic of my growing years. Robert De Niro like Al Pachino has played some immortal characters and this character of Travis Bickle, a Marine who fought in the Vietnam War, is a distant and unstable young man of 26 from the Midwest. As a chronic insomniac, he becomes a nighttime taxi driver in New York City.Travis spends his restless days in seedy porn theaters and driving around Manhattan. The film was chosen by Time Magazine as one of the 100 best films of all time. Watch out De Niro, Jodie Foster etc.

7) AMERICAN BEAUTY- Another classic movie that didn't get released in India. Reasons, unknown or for some sexual explicit content. This movie is very close to mine for two obvious reasons- one was obviously Mina Suvari and the second it reminded me of my ex-girl.

I still remember it watching it with my ex-girl, and when we just walked out she looked at me and said, "Would you still love me if I were dead?" I could realise how much relationships meant to her, and this Sam Mendes movie did more wonders than possibly ever could imagine. We broke up but I still feel some relationships are hold in the sweet chambers of heart and treasured always. Kevin Spacey, Annette Bening, Thora Birch,Wes Bentley and Mena Suvari makes the movie to get into the classic room. Kevin Spacey won the Oscar and I salute the entire group for its stellar performances!

8) SCENT OF A WOMAN- The man who comes next to Robert De Niro in acting is Al Pacino. Right from the GODFATHER days, Al has always enacted each and every character with such perfection and class, that it is tough for me to single out the best AL Pacino movie, but I would say this movie comes very close.

A 1992 classic. which tells the story of a preparatory school student who takes a job as an assistant to an irascible blind, medically retired Army officer. It stars Al Pacino, Chris O'Donnell, James Rebhorn, Gabrielle Anwar, and Philip Seymour Hoffman. The climax in which Al gives a speech is considered in the management books as the very best. Also, doesn't ever miss out to watch out his Tango. Interestingly, after the making of the movie, when Chris O' Donnel asked Al about what he had to say on his performance, Al wrote a short note saying that he didnt even notice him Chris O'Donnel in the movie. Now, that just proves his Pacino's dedication to the character. Also, we got one of the immortal signature tune--HU HA HU HA

9) ANAND: How many of you have wached Tapan Sinha's classic BAWARCHI? Robi's It's just touching to watch Rajesh Khanna trying to enact a Robi Ghosh role in ANAND; Babusmoshai and his Amitabh's performance-unbelieveage. What I learnt-- don't be scared of death, smile and death will look wonderful to you.

10) DEEWAR- This is one of Mr. Bachchan's movies that I chose to keep it ahead of SHOLAY and AGNEEPATH only becuase of i felt its screenplay by Javed Akhtar was the best of the lots. Amitabh fights and gives his career-0riented performance as an angry young man who never goes to the temple, bows only before his mother and who says "aaj bhi pheke paisa nahin uithata"

On Road for a Railway Ticket

The day started with a kick off to my Final semester MBA classess, but before proceeding to the classes, I went to the Koramangala BDA Complex to book my railway tickets from Bangalore to Chennai for 5th October night. A couple of interesting things happened that made me to compose this note

1) It was a dry queue with hardly 5-7 people to get tickets. Makes me wonder how technology has contributed to mankind. E-Commerce has really strengthed in the years and websites like IRCTC & Indian Railways have taken more than 50 percent of the consumers in hold. fantastic!

2) On paying the required amount, the official told me to give change for 25 rs. Now, this is a situation wherein I had to go eat ravad idly and pay the change to get back the tickets. Can we have a change system wherein an automated machine pays the change or give the required money. Or say, something the Ticket offices write on the back of the ticket so that the credit or debit amount can be charged by the TT during journey. This unnecessary saves a lot of harassment

3) Professor Appan took a fantastic ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) class today as part of our Final Semester specialized course. He spoke about the ERP benefits and specially mentioned how there is a dearth in the specialization in HR on ERP. I realy wish to know more on it. Btw, MBA is a fantastic programme; folks who are planning to do it: do a full-fledged programme, it's worth!

4) Finally, I tasted the Chicken Biryani with Gongura Achar; spoke to mama over the phone.

That's all!

EMBRACING THE BRACES

EMBRACING THE BRACES

Fellow Neighbours,

This profile comes from the locales of Javacity, Koramangala.

I never thought I'd say this, but I am all grown up. At a declaration meet recently, someone
over the coffee table looked at me and asked,"don't you Orkut?" I painstakingly responded naa..it's waste of time to which she gave me a pitying look usually reserved for endangered creatures.

It's a different story although that within next few days, my entire routine had turned topsy-turvy, but hell! who cares- writers are always perceived to be those nonsense fellas with grin on their faces. Just ask any fellow software developer and get ready for some amazing comments. As for the lady, well she chose to go out for me a date, which lasted only for 10 minutes. But before she went out with her BF, I was made aware of Shakira's Hips, Liposuction creativity, blah blah..

I searched again- this time a Coffee day waitress (studies in Christ College)- I thought God! Cappucino would really taste well this time. Well, early Sunday morning we were in Thomas Chruch- the lady prayed (I was praying with two hands folded), and she looked at me and uttered those golden words, "I'm engaged". I looked into the yonder sky..couldn't see God. Much like that cloudy sky, I too felt my life had engulfed in dark clouds.

And then this writer walked in; she made me believe that I needed to smile more and talk less. Why? For she does that job so well. Bunny, as I fondly call her gave
me an Appam treat and also a lesson in punctuality. I decided that here's someone who had a thought for every topic and holla! a guy like me bowed down and said "Thy care to be respected lady". She is one of the best friends I have till date, and we both are pleasantly surprised by that.

And the seasons rolls on..the last time I went out with a girl from Orkut, we landed up in Amoeba. The good part is this Balwdins chick has become my Bowling partner, and
ya! when she rolls that ball, I am too rolled or bowled over.

Thanks guys for being a part of my life! I enjoyed each and every second of this Orkutting phase.

Thanks Mr.Bernokutten! Is he a Turkish or a Malyalee? A big round of applause for you conceiving this stuff.

But just like every good thing, this too ends here. I need
to get hold on my career! But girls, guruji is always there to help. You can find me on weeknights at Brewhaha, Koramangala (Near JNC) somewhere between 8-10.

Adios pals!
